Obedience Courses
All our classes are aimed predominently at the pet owner, covering general obedience exercises and how to avoid common problems living with a dog, such as stopping playbiting and teaching a dog to be comfortable being alone.
Each course runs for ten weeks (first week without dogs for Puppy & Beginner Courses) with the exception of Growlers which is six weeks. There are five levels to take you through from puppy to an adult dog.
Through each level we used tried and tested reward based methods, and we try and make training as enjoyable and as much fun as possible. Training with your dog will build a strong bond, but it can be very hard work. Be assured we are here to help you through every step of the way.
Through each course we will assess you and your dog (don't worry it's not a test!) so we and you can evaluate your progress. This gives structure to each course and also gives you a goal to work towards.
We are a Kennel Club Good Citizens Award Listed organisation, and we run the Puppy Foundation Level in our Puppy & Beginner Courses.
Classes numbers are limited to ensure that there is adequate room for each dog and that each person receives enough individual attention from the instructors. Please book early to avoid dissapointment.

Fun Agility Courses
This is fun agility for the pet owner, we do not train for competion.
Agility is another form of training, and as well as being incredible fun, it will help keep you and your dog fit! It will give those dogs that are of excitable nature something to focus on, and yes wear them out at the same time!
All breeds are welcome, no matter what shape or size, nearly all dogs will enjoy agility, and remember our classes are not for competition, but for pet dogs, so even speed doesn't really matter.
Each course runs for eight weeks and as with our Obedience Courses we limit the munbers in each class. Please book early to avoid dissapointment.
So as not to put too much stress on young joints, dogs do need to be at least a year old before starting agility classes, and they do also need to be of a reasonable fitness. If in doubt, please consult your vet before joining.
Having some basic obedience (especially a recall!) will help you get the most out of doing agility, if you have trouble with this, let us know, we can help you with your recall or any other training requirement.
How to Book A Course
All of our courses need to be pre-booked so please contact us for start dates and class availability. You can also download our booking form (in word format) below. Pay On-line with a Credit/Debit Card
You can now pay for a course or activity on-line by credit or debit card. Please go to our Payments page. Please also ensure that you complete our Booking Form and send it to us either via email or in the post. You may wish to contact us for availability and to confirm course dates before paying.
Puppy Mixture
Puppy mixture is a fun outdoor activity class for puppies and young dogs. The course will consist of basic obedience and flat agility work and is eight weeks long for 1 hour per week. We'll be covering the most important obedience exercises including sit & down, recall, lead walking and stays and then starting on puppy level and size agility exercises such as the contact equipment (dog walk and a-frame) tunnels and training weaves.
This class is perfect for those that only want to do basic obedience, like to work outdoors and / or those that would like to go on to do full agility once their puppy is older.
